Born in Toronto, Canada, PK found his passion for performace at a very young age, often doing impersonations at his parents’ dinner parties as a small child, as an excuse to stay up late. This undying hunger to perform stayed with him throughout grade school. He pursued every opportunity to be on stage throughout his time at Crescent School as he continued working towards his high school diploma.

After graduating, PK then proceeded to continue chasing his dreams by heading off to Bishop’s University where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Theatre. While studying at Bishop’s PK began to diversify his performance abilities through stagings of the classics, such as: “Twelfth Night”, “Macbeth”, “Crimes of the Heart”, “Spring Awakening”, “Of Mice and Men” and “Great Expectations”, while also taking intensive studies with guest instructors such as Michael Kennard (Mump and Smoot) and Tim Gosley (Fraggle Rock).

Simultaneous to his studies, PK was the MC for the University’s annual “Rock 4 Recycling” festival, hosted three “BU Drama Students Talent Nights”, was a keynote speaker at three of the Montreal Massacre Memorial Services, while also working for a touring theatre troupe named, “Bad Dates” that traveled to local junior high/high schools, educating students and spreading awareness on the dangers of sexual assault while teaching practical prevention methods.

After graduation, PK moved back to Toronto and quickly discovered his love for Improv, Sketch Comedy and Satire through The Second City. There, he worked his way through the Improv, Writing, Master Class and Conservatory Programs, eventually becoming an Instructor/Director, himself.

While polishing his comedic skills at Second City, PK began to accrue multiple credits in various Theatre Productions (“Empire of the Magic Beanstalks”, “Bye Bye Liver: The Canadian Drinking Play”, “The Clueless Dead” ), Films (“Burning Daylight”, “Four Aces”), Network Television Shows, (“Suits”, “Taken”, “Baroness Von Sketch Show” and “Team Epic”) and Sketch/Improv Troupes (“Interrobang!?”, “Naked Friday Players”, “The Funk”).

And so, with over 15 years of Acting and Writing experience, and with the determination to continue pushing his career forwards, PK finally made the move to Los Angeles, California where he currently resides as an Actor (performing both on and off the stage), an Improv and Sketch Comedy Instructor at The Second City’s Training Centre in Hollywood, and a Writer, working on both his horror novels and scrips in whatever spare time he can find.
